The main challenge is that the preparation and maintenance of riding arenas are dependent on human labour and eyesight. The majority of riding arena owners are forced to maintain the surfaces in off-hours, that is, when the arenas is not being used by paying clients, and, typically, between 10´oclock at night until´ 7 o´clock in the morning.
